City waits for EDA grant money

PLYMOUTH — The city of Plymouth moved to put the final touches on the books for 2010 giving Plymouth Clerk-Treasurer Toni Hutchings the permission to make transfers necessary to finalize budget items for the year.
The Council also passed a more formal resolution Monday allowing the city to transfer funds temporarily from the City Development Fund to the EDA (United States Economic Development Administration) Tech-Farm Fund for cash flow purposes.

One new ordinance for the city; others must wait

PLYMOUTH — The city of Plymouth has a new ordinance for its sewer system, but two other ordinances will have to wait.
An ordinance for the city’s pretreatment sewer program was enacted after passing second and third reading by the Plymouth Common Council Monday. The ordinance brings the city in line with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Indiana Department of Environmental Management standards for cities with pretreatment programs.

TAMARAC, Fla. — Tom Ross Syler, of Tamarac, Fla., formerly of Plymouth, died Friday, Dec. 10, at North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach, Fla.
He is survived by daughter Barbara Syler and cousin of Roland Toth.
Burial will take place at a later date in Indiana.
Arrangements under the direction of Kraeer/Mason Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6701 W. Commercial Blvd.Tamarac, Fla.
