SOUTH BEND — Kevin Park avenged an early season loss to Penn’s Leonard Hickman to give the Culver Military Academy Eagles the South Bend Boys Tennis Regional title Wednesday afternoon.

ARGOS — The Dragons have a tough road at sectional this week.
Although Argos has already notched a win over rival Plymouth, the Sectional 17 hosts will have to get through defending champion Warsaw today to even get to the finals this year.
“It’s going to take a superb team effort on our part for us to get them,” said Argos head coach Todd VanDerWeele. “Anything’s possible, and I think of all the teams I’ve had since I’ve been coaching at Argos, this is the best one I’ve had that I think could do that.”
WALKERTON — Coming off back-to-back losses against Knox and Jimtown, the Culver Cavaliers (5-2, 3-2 NSC) jump out of the frying pan and into the fire this week with a game at Northern State Conference foe John Glenn (6-1, 4-1 NSC).
In fact, Culver head coach Andy Thomas sees some parallels between the Jimmies and the Falcons, who were handed their only loss this season by Jimtown.
